With earnings of about 75 million bucks, Tom Cruise is taking leading spot on the list of top five highest paid Hollywood abtors in 2012. Born as Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, the American actor-cum-producer rose to fame with his movie Top Gun in which he portrayed as a pilot. His other famous movies also include Minority Report, War of the Worlds, The Color of Money and Days of Thunder etc.

2. Leonardo DiCaprio

Rose to fame with his blockbuster Titanic, which received a world-wide appreciation, Leonardo DiCaprio was the top earner of last year but his flop movie ‘J. Edgar’ has dropped him to the second spot this year. His current earnings are $37 million.

3. Adam Sandler

Another multi-talented American actor, who proved his iron not only in the field of acting but in the fields of production, music and film too, Adam Sandler is taking the third spot on this year’s list of top five highest paid Hollywood actors in 2012 with an earnings of $37 million, which also includes his income from the 2011 film ‘Jack and Jill’.

4. Dwayne Johnson

Commonly known as ‘The Rock’, Dwayne Johnson is an American actor and former professional wrestler. After enjoying lot of fame in wrestling, Dwayne decided to try his luck in the acting field too. With this aim he joined the entertainment industry in 1999 at the age of 27. His officially said good bye to wrestling in the year 2004. He set to be starred in G.I. Joe: Retaliation in which he’ll portray as Roadblock. His current earning is $36 million.

5. Ben Stiller

  At number 5, we have comedian Ben Stiller. With total income of about $33 million, he is taking last spot on the list of top five highest paid Hollywood actors in 2012. His upcoming movie is ‘The Watch’ which is due to release in July 2013.
